Hide Away Cabin

Charlesford Hide Away Cabin is situated 19 km from Knysna, in a secluded tranquil tree rich environment with amazing birdlife. The cabin is fully equipped. The cabin is ideal for a romantic couple – a perfect peaceful break from our hustle and bustle lifestyles.

The cabin has a true rustic feeling, mixed with all the modern amenities. The Hide Away Cabin has been built with to purpose to complement and preserve the environment – it was predominately built from wood harvested on the farm. It is equipped with a Solar system & gravity feed water system hence we are not affected by load shedding at all. 12 Volt charging stations are available

We needed a second honeymoon – and this was exactly right! What peace and beauty! With all the extras we really look forward to doing so annually now.

The A-frame cabin consists of a double bedroom on the mezzanine floor, downstairs we have a bathroom with a view – equipped with a shower, toilet & basin. Gas geyser will supply hot water to the shower and the basin.

The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, gas hob and all cutlery and crockery required for an easy stay. A dining room with a 4 seater table as well as a a deck with outside seating options are available. All areas were created with tranquillity and relaxation in mind.
Enjoy sun downers at our lapa area while you experience nature in its full glory. A vast range of birdlife is located surrounding the cabin and a Bushbuck family has also been spotted.

We recently installed our brand new hot tub! A fabulous way to spend the cooler evenings. Imagine relaxing with a class of wine, soft music and romantic lighting – the mood is set!
